The truth, that is, the topic that I want to briefly and simply address in my first text for the blog is “personal development”, inseparable from professional development.
By the way, fun fact, I have written thousands of journalistic texts, they say that I write great and some more creative stories, and I feel a sense of elation while writing this text. Because I’m somehow happy and I’m not in a hurry, because in journalism, editing, political and other works, you’re always in a hurry, because you have deadlines. Now I don’t have to!
So, first let me say – your birthday is the day when the Creator decided that the world can no longer live without you.
There is an eruption of people who are in the trend which we can describe like this – reading several new age psychology books, and they wants to motivate you to “manifest”, “create the life of your dreams”…
I’m not going to break your snowman, it’s all the absolute truth, you can.
But there is the inversion of the process is mostly.
You don’t just need to want it, you need to create the conditions for it to come to you and stay.
In short, you must not allow yourself to be limited and murky, you do not pour 2 liters of water into a small brandy glass.
I will translate murky to evil/bad, and every mentally healthy person knows what is good and what is bad.
On the other hand, to make mistakes is human, so if you have unintentionally harmed someone, the mere awareness of it and not repeating the act, is enough for you not to be murky.
They tell you to “be authentic”, and people mistakenly understand that then they should be different at all costs.
Authenticity is when your thoughts, actions, and feelings match. That is also (my) definition of harmony, peace.
The four components of development are inseparable. There is no achieving the goal - a happy, peaceful, harmonious life, if they do not flow in parallel and if we do not devote ourselves to them with equal attention: physical, material, emotional, spiritual (not in the religious sense, but if you are careful not to go beyond the boundaries set by religion, that is something).
The next time will inevitably separate the wheat from the chaff, no matter how much attention is defocused and how much time we can consume content, I like to call it "Tik Tok attention".
So what will separate useful from useless coaches and mentor healers?
Experience. And it is not measured by years, but by lived + read + emotionally processed + intellectually realized + spiritually "self-explained" (no matter how rich and beautiful our language is, sometimes words fail me so I invent them, always).
And no, it is not true that age means anything. I know enough people for whom years have not added even a grain of wisdom and "usable" knowledge.
On the other hand, there are very inspiring twenty-year-olds, who are the "channel" of new, advanced knowledge.
Intuition will tell you who is right for you at your moment of development. All those who "listened to their gut" and I have been among them since I can remember, made the least mistakes in their lesson choices. The hack is to take responsibility for the action.
There are individuals who can make "fast forward" in your life, business, career. To skip unnecessary, minor lessons and go for big, and therefore bigger rewards and achievements.
Really, what good will the knowledge about the "number of sheep in FR Yugoslavia" which I had to have because it was a lesson in High School, in Geography? And again, the knowledge that "the square over the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares over the legs", about cell divisions, etc., is great.
To simplify, it would be good if we had mentors and experts who would explain to us that some Geography lessons take up a limited amount of time on Earth, and that, for example, Mathematics in everything.
Think about it
